Totally Wicked Decadent Vapours Candy Floss

October 2010 Decadent Vapours Candy Floss 18mg

Equipment:
Today I’ll be reviewing Decadent Vapours Candy Floss on the Mega Tornado with a standard Titan 510 atomizer.

Appearance/Aroma:
This sample of e-liquid is a deep shade of red. I have a little trouble seeing through it; however, it’s not cloudy at all, it’s more like looking through a red lens.
Some say that scent is the most powerful of the senses. In this case the scent of this liquid immediately invokes childhood memories of trips to the local amusement park as well as trips to the circus on occasion. The liquid has a thin consistency, for this review I’ll be direct dripping.

Flavor:
A light, sweet, tasting vapor, the vapor almost has a feel of fluffiness to it. When I exhale and it hits my sinuses, I’m constantly reminded of those fond memories. I recall standing on my tippy toes, face almost pressed up against the glass, watching alongside all the other kids and being amazed as the vendor spun this stuff that seemed to come from nowhere onto a long paper cone. Candy Floss is very close to what the name says. It did have a slight hint of artificial sweetener to it, not enough that it loses any points.

Throat Hit:
For such a sweet flavored liquid, I would say the throat hit was moderate. It was not harsh at all, just enough I could feel it slightly.

Vapor Production:
Candy Floss translates from liquid to vapor effortlessly in the atomizer, and makes a very good amount of it.

Decadent Vapours Candy Floss is a flavor I could enjoy from time to time; it’s a light uncomplicated flavor. I might also try using this flavor to enhance others, if I thought they could use some added sweetness.

Totally Wicked Patriot Range Double Apple Shisha

October 2010 Patriot Range Double Apple Shisha 18mg

What is Shisha? I wasn’t familiar myself when this flavor was released, so I had to look it up. I learned it’s the term used for the tobacco that is used in the process of smoking Hookah, the tobacco is soaked in fruit shavings such as apples, grapes, strawberries, etc.

Equipment:
Mega Tornado combined with a 510 low resistance atomizer.

Appearance/Aroma:
An orangey-pink in color and middle of the road in viscosity best describes the appearance of my sample. Comparing it to the smell of warm apple cider is the best way I can describe the smell of the liquid.

Flavor:
When I first read the name “Double Apple” I thought this was going to be an overly fruity vape, I was wrong. It has a mild tobacco base coupled with the flavor of apple cider. I detect a hint of spice that enhances this flavor. The one spice that seems to stand out is cinnamon. It’s a well-balanced flavor and works well for all day vaping. The apple flavor came through a little more on the low resistance atomizer compared to the standard 510.

Throat hit:
I am guessing that the combination of tobacco and spice is what accounts for the impressive throat hit I experience in an e-liquid at 18mg strength.

Double Apple Shisha is an exotic, complex blend of tobacco, fruit, and spice that equates to one tasty vape! I would highly recommend Double Apple Shisha, I like this one as an alternative to tobacco flavors for all day vaping.

Totally Wicked Patriot Range Kiwi

September 2010 Patriot Range Kiwi 18mg

Equipment:
For this flavor I’m going to be using Mega Tornado not only with a LR 510 atomizer, but also with a standard 510. There are some changes I experienced when using both that are worth mentioning.

Appearance/Aroma:
Liquid was an orange-gold color, clear in opacity. It’s medium to thick in viscosity, and upon opening I’m greeted with the scent of vine-ripened strawberries…very inviting.

Flavor:
On the inhale I get the flavor of honeydew melon, it remains sweet through the exhale and finishes with a crisp sour bite. The closest taste I could use to describe the sourness would be to compare it to strawberries harvested a little too early. It’s a great balance of sweet and sour, a very natural fruit flavor.

When switching to the low resistance the flavor changed drastically for me. It took on more of a candied apple flavor and it lost its tart bite on the finish. Still a nice flavor, just different.

Throat Hit:
Not much of a throat hit to this flavor at all. I’m fine with that; the flavor makes up for it.

Vapor Production:
Works well in the atomizer, produces great amounts on the standard 510, even more impressive on the low resistance.

Patriot Range Kiwi has the perfect intensity that makes it one fruit flavor out of very few I can vape all day.

Totally Wicked Decadent Vapours Cinnamint

September 2010 Decadent Vapours Cinnamint 18mg

Equipment:
Today I’m vaping on the Mega Tornado and LR 510 atomizer.

Appearance/Aroma: Dark rich amber color, medium in opacity. It’s very similar to dark ale in appearance, minus the bubbles of course. Very strange, for a liquid named “Cinnamint”, I’m not picking up much of a scent to this liquid. There’s a little bit of a sweet scent to this, but no overpowering aroma when I remove the top on the dropper bottle.

Flavor: Surprisingly, as the aroma gave me the impression this was going to be a weak vape, the flavor is quite strong. The cinnamon was very similar to those atomic fireball candies, not as intense, but a similar flavor. The fresh mint flavor compliments it quite nicely, I can taste it but it’s more of a background flavor. After exhaling the cinnamon flavor remained; however, the mint lingered a little longer and left behind a cool refreshing feeling. The flavor brought back fond memories of pledging my college fraternity. Our fraternity’s colors were red and black. We would always have to carry, and produce at any of the brothers’ request, Big Red chewing gum while on campus.

Throat hit: Cinnamint packs quite a wallop as far as throat hit goes. Not only the heat of cinnamon, but also the coolness of fresh mint come into play here. They go together quite nicely. I thought it was impressive not only on the inhale, but also on the exhale and for a good few seconds afterwards.

Vapor production: I’d say more than satisfying is the best way to describe it in terms of vapor production. It’s neither overstated nor disappointing, there is enough to keep me quite happy.

Decadent Vapours Cinnamint has a different kind of effect as far as throat hit goes, not peppery or menthol; the heat of cinnamon in this flavor is a refreshing alternative. It’s a flavor I would enjoy to revisiting.

Totally Wicked Patriot Range Coconut Chocolate

August 2010 Patriot Range Coconut Chocolate 18mg

Equipment:
Mega Tornado with an LR 510 atomizer.

Appearance/Aroma: Slight pinkish color, strong coconut smell more similar to a coconut based product than natural coconut.

Flavor: A fifty-fifty balance of coconut and chocolate. A little on the artificial side, that’s not to say its bad. The chocolate was like a chocolate cookie, similar to Oreos. The coconut tasted a little syrupy, similar to the Coconut Creams you would find in a box of chocolates. Often when I vape sweeter flavors my taste buds get used to them after a short while and I have to switch flavors. This tasted pretty sweet; however, the flavor did remain pretty strong when vaped over a period of time. Seems after vaping for a while the coconut became a little less noticeable than the chocolate.

Throat Hit: Surprising, the throat hit is a little bit on the strong side, considering it’s such a sweet flavor. It actually hits me a little more on exhale.

Vapor production: Satisfactory marks for Coconut Chocolate, as far as vapor production goes. It was on the lower end of the Patriot Range liquids I’ve tried; however, it was still pretty good.

Patriot Range Coconut Chocolate is a good choice if you like sweets. If asked for a flavor that was similar to the coconut filled chocolates, I would say this would be it.

Totally Wicked Decadent Vapours Habana Reserve

August 2010 Decadent Vapours Habana Reserve 18mg

Equipment:
Today I’m vaping on the Mega Tornado and LR 510 atomizer.

Appearance/Aroma: Dark gold in color, medium to light in opacity. It’s very thin in viscosity as well. It smells of alcohol with a sweet fruitiness to it, very similar to the Cognac I recently reviewed.

Flavor: The flavor I get on the inhale is a combination of Potpourri basket, Cognac, baby powder, it’s very floral. It does have a touch of an earthy, spicy tobacco taste in the exhale and aftertaste. The flavor doesn’t fade over time, which is well suited for a great all day vape.

Throat hit: The amount of throat hit is up there. It’s not over the top, but it provides a good solid throat hit.

Vapor production: Habana Reserve is very satisfying as vapor production goes. It makes good amounts of vapor and it seems to be very easy on my atomizer.

Decadent Vapours Habana Reserve is flavor I wouldn’t recommend to someone looking for a “cigar-like” experience; however, once I got past the fact that it did not taste like a Cuban cigar to me, it was a pleasant vape. I did not love it nor did I hate it, was right there in the middle. If I did find myself in the mood for this flavor I could vape it all day.
